Work With Me

I enjoy working with companies of many different kinds to meet the needs of your business. Please do note that I adhere strictly to the FTC Disclosure Guidelines for Social Media Influencers (link here) that include revealing any relationship or exchange be it in the form of complimentary products, discounted products, or payment. I will make that simple disclosure clear at the beginning of every blogpost as well as through the use of a #sponsored and/or #ad hashtag on my social media channels.

Outlined below are just a few ways in which we can partner. If you have an idea, feel free to email me!

Recipe Development:
I love creating recipes and would be happy to develop unique and appealing recipes using your company’s products. Email with request and for pricing information. Mailing/shipping address is available upon request.

Product Reviews:
I do accept products and services for review. I do not accept compensation in exchange for positive reviews. I typically stick with things that fall within my area of expertise. That means anything I can relate back to food or the kitchen.  I welcome food, beverages (alcoholic or non), kitchen tools/utensils/dishes/glasses/linens/etc., books, cookbooks, movies, and other things along those lines. 

If you send me a product, you can expect a social media shout-out (with a photo) on all of my channels. If your company is on that particular channel, I will tag you.

Unless agreed upon beforehand in writing, I will not guarantee an entire post devoted to your product.  If I love your product, I will likely devote an entire post to it.  If I like your product, it may get featured in a post with several products.  If I am undecided or dislike it, I will not mention your product at all.  I write honest reviews, but, as my mom taught me, if I don't have something nice to say, I won't.

Giveaway Policy:
I will happily hold a giveaway featuring your product IF I like your product and think that my readers will like it also.  So, if you would like me to host a giveaway, you need to send me the same product you want to send my readers first so that I can try it for myself and take my own photographs. Email me for further discussion.

While I will happily accept products and/or books to review, I do not promise to mention said items on Culinary Adventures with Camilla - please read above. I will always disclose to my readers that the product was provided to me at no charge or a discounted fee. Providing an item for review will, in no way, influence my opinion or review, as I respect my readers, their time, and their budget. I only provide product review/giveaways when I have had a chance to use the product. Product samples will not be returned to the company. I do not guarantee that I will post a review for all products received.

Editorial:

I will always disclose to my readers the nature of my partnerships with brands. I have a full disclosure policy and will also include a small disclaimer in any post which is written on behalf of a company or partner. I will make readers aware if money and/or product was received.

Caulibits Crni Rižoto (Croatian Black "Risotto") #Whole30

Last week, I participated in the Wine Pairing Weekend event 'New Year, New Wine." I paired Crni Rižoto with Dingac Vinarija’s Pelješac...and you can read my post: here . I was pouring a Croatian wine and decided to make a traditional Croatian dish. Every seafood restaurant in Croatia has a  Crni Rižoto  (black risotto) on its menu.  Crni Rižoto  is risotto dyed black with squid ink; I used cuttlefish ink for the same effect. However, since arborio rice is not Whole30 compliant, I made a version for myself that used caulibits instead of rice. Ingredients 1 C fish stock (or a combination of fish stock and vegetable stock) 1 T olive oil 1 medium shallots, peeled and minced 1 cloves garlic, crushed and minced 1/4 lb shrimp 1/4 lb squid tubes, cleaned and sliced into rings 1/4 lb scallops 1/4 lb clams, scrubbed 1/4 lb mussels, scrubbed 4 C caulibits, or chopped cauliflower 1 T fresh parsley, minced juice and zest from 1 organic lemon 1 t cuttlefish ink

This month the French Winophiles group is looking at affordable wines from Burgundy.  Host Cindy of Grape Experiences wrote: "Burgundy, or Bourgogne, is known for its wines of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir... as well as Aligote, Gamay, Sauvignon, César, Pinot Beurot, Sacy, Melon in lesser quantities. Many of the well-known wines are quite expensive, but there are plenty of values to be found."
